David Hutcheson Bio

David Hutcheson MBCI was one of the founding directors of Perth based Glen Abbot Ltd.; one of the leading Business Continuity and Pandemic Planning companies in the UK.

David is a regular speaker at UK and International conferences on Business Continuity and Pandemic Planning, and has recently returned from speaking on pandemics at the BCI conference in Shanghai. David is the only BCI Certified trainer on Pandemic Planning in Europe and has been a regular media commentator since the recent outbreak of swine flu H1N1 and issues a regular pandemic briefing with a world wide circulation.

David provides twice weekly briefings on pandemics and these can be received by email or downloaded from www.glenabbot.co.uk.

David is Chair of the Institute of Directors in Tayside, a Board member of the IoD Scotland and serves on the Government’s Public Procurement Committee.
